• A student at Menlo-Atherton High School at 555 Middlefield Road reported that her wallet had been stolen from her purse. The wallet was later found in a boys restroom on the campus, under the cover of a toilet tank, and returned to the owner. The wallet's original contents, except for cash, were still inside. Estimated loss: $200. Nov. 3.
• Someone stole cash and "a small box" from a dorm room at Menlo College at 1000 El Camino Real. Estimated loss: $355. Nov. 4.
Indecent exposure: Police arrested and booked into jail a 35-year-old East Palo Alto man for indecent exposure in the vicinity of Middlefield Road and Encinal Avenue. Nov. 7.
Traffic accident: A cyclist was taken to Stanford Hospital with complaints of pain in his cheek and knee after a collision with a vehicle at the intersection Middlefield Road and Watkins Avenue shortly before 8 a.m. Nov. 6.
Fraud: Deputies arrested and booked into jail a 50-year-old Ohio man on charges of burglary, receiving stolen property and being in possession of a bad check and a fraudulent ID. The man allegedly attempted to cash a bad check for $5,900 at a Woodside bank. Oct. 27.
Drunk in public: Deputies arrested and booked into jail a 70-year-old Menlo Park woman in the 2900 block of Woodside Road after determining that she was "intoxicated and unable to care for herself." Nov. 2.
Trespassing: Deputies arrested a 58-year-old Belmont man on trespassing charges in connection with his alleged presence on the grounds of Ladera Community Church. Oct. 22.
