Championships settled in two boys basketball leagues

The first time the Palo Alto boys and Los Gatos met this season, they played a double-overtime thriller. Friday’s game at the Peery Center was decided a little earlier.

Palo Alto went on a 19-0 run to close the third quarter and cruised from there to a 72-61 win.

It was Paly’s 18th win in a row and it clinched the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League De Anza Division title. Read the story here.
