Prep report: Check it out, spring sports are in full bloom

 

David Schmaier and Silas Stewart got the Menlo boys lacrosse team going and Samson Axe made sure the Knights finished strong.

Axe scored the tying goal with less than five minutes left in regulation and then recorded the game winner in overtime, leading Menlo to a 9-8 victory over host Piedmont in a nonleague contest Tuesday night. Read the story here.
