Menlo's Wallis, Morgan earn GSAC Player of Week honors

 

Menlo College lead-off hitter Jason Wallis collected seven hits, including a pair of three-run home runs, in helping the Oaks sweep a three-game series against San Diego Christian over the weekend, earning him the Golden State Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week honors.

Wallis upped his batting average to .453, second in the GSAC, and brings a 19-game hitting streak into Menlo's three-game series at Hope International that begins with a 6 p.m. game Friday night. Read the story here.
