Prep report: Big inning lifts Gunn to league victory

 

A nine-run second inning erased an early deficit and the Gunn baseball team went on to defeat host Fremont, 16-3, in a Santa Clara Valley Athletic League contest Thursday.

Samio Uze collected four hits, including a triple, drove in three runs and scored three runs to lead the Titans (10-5, 5-1), who visit Homestead for a 1 p.m. game Saturday. Read the story here.
