Sacred Heart Prep can make a case for the unofficial Central Coast Section champion in boys lacrosse. The Gators lost once to a CCS opponent all season and they took their revenge in a big way, beating visiting St. Ignatius, 12-5, in the West Catholic Athletic League championship game on Friday.

Sacred Heart Prep (16-3) won its last five games to capture the league title. SI was the last team to beat it, 7-6, during WCAL regular-season play. Read the story here.
