All-CCS water polo, college honors, coaches corner

 

Sacred Heart Prep senior Larsen Weigle, who is headed to Stanford in the fall, was named the Central Coast Section Player of the Year by a panel of water polo coaches it was announced Tuesday.

Weigle led the Gators (26-2) to one of their finest years in program history. The season was shortened because of air quality issues from the Camp Fire in Butte County. The Central Coast Section Open Division contest was never played and the Northern California tournament was canceled.Read the story here.
