Menlo-Atherton’s defense was the dominant dynamic Friday in Belmont in a 53-36 victory over Carlmont. It was M-A’s 15th win in a row and provides a two-game lead over Carlmont in the Peninsula Athletic League South Division standings with two games left.
The first time the two teams played Carlmont got off to a flying start with a 23-point first quarter. M-A (19-3, 10-0) had to battle back from an 11-point deficit in an eventual 65-62 victory. Read the story here.
