Prep soccer: Menlo girls win WBAL title with a tie vs. SHP

Sophie Jones and Carolina Espinosa each scored a goal and recorded an assist as the Menlo School girls' soccer clinched the West Bay Athletic League Foothill Division championship, tying Sacred Heart Prep, 2-2, at home Friday.

Menlo (16-1-1, 7-0-2) is four points ahead of Notre Dame Belmont with one match to play. The Knights finish the regular season Monday at Mercy-Burlingame and then prepare for the Central Coast Section playoffs that begin next Saturday. Read the story here.
