Palo Alto, which placed third in the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League De Anza Division, earned the No. 5 seed in the Open Division of the Central Coast Section boys soccer tournament.
The Vikings (10-3-7) placed behind Los Gatos and Homestead in league play. The Wildcats (10-6-2) received the No. 8 seed and travels to play Watsonville (13-2-5) in Saturday’s quarterfinal at 7 p.m. Read the story here.
