Prep baseball: Bears shut down Half Moon Bay in PAL opener

 

Pete Discher and Elliot Zeien combined on a four-hitter and Menlo-Atherton beat host Half Moon Bay 6-0 in the Peninsula Athletic League Ocean Division opener on Tuesday.

Jake Wang tripled, singled, scored twice and drove in three runs for the Bears (3-2, 1-0), who host the previously undefeated Cougars in a PAL contest Thursday at 4 p.m. Read the story here.
