Edin Ibrahimovic recorded 35 kills, including on the game-winning point, as Menlo College stunned ninth-ranked Hope International, 19-25, 25-17, 22-25, 25-22, 19-17, in the semifinals of the Golden State Athletic Conference men’s volleyball playoffs at UC Merced on Friday night.
Ibrahimovic added two blocks and a service assist for a total of 38 points, matching the NAIA high for the season. Akash Dhothar had nine kills and 14 digs for the Oaks (12-11), who meet Benedictine-Mesa in Saturday’s 7 p.m. title tilt. Read the story here.
