Injured man expected to recover from wound

East Palo Alto police are looking for a man who stabbed a 26-year-old in an East Palo Alto neighborhood near U.S. Highway 101 earlier this month. Investigators on Friday, May 24, released a sketch of the man in the hopes that he'll be located.

On May 15, police officers received a report about an attempted homicide in the 400 block of East O'Keefe Street, just blocks away from the Four Seasons Silicon Valley Hotel, around 3 a.m. They discovered the East Palo Alto resident suffering from a stab wound.

Paramedics were immediately called to the scene and the 26-year-old man was transported to a hospital where he was treated for his injury. Police said the man is expected to recover.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot, 5-inch Hispanic man between 28 and 30 years old and weighing between 110 and 120 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
