Thursday: Menlo Park Library to host trivia night

The Menlo Park library will be hosting an after-hours "Book-ish" trivia night for adults from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29. The event will feature trivia games and prizes, light refreshments, adult beverages and a drawing for participants in the library's Adult Summer Learning Challenge. It will be a casual-format, "pub quiz" kind of event, explained event organizer Rose Frazier.

The learning challenge has been running throughout the summer and will end Aug. 31. It encourages participants to read and try new activities. Go to for more information.

In addition, all attendees will receive a free book, Frazier said.
