“The Servant of Two Masters,” a classic Italian comedy by Carlo Goldoni, will be presented by the Portola Valley Theatre Conservatory from Feb. 27 to March 14 at the Lane Family Hall Theatre in Portola Valley.

Identities are confused, engagements are broken, and lovers are reunited as the servant Truffaldino hatches a scheme to double his wages by serving two masters. He then scrambles his way through a day of near-disasters to keep both masters and lovers apart.

Cheryl Goodman-Morris and her daughter Noelle Goodman-Morris are directing the play, as well as acting the roles of Beatrice and Clarice, respectively. Emily Greco plays the role of the servant, Truffaldino. Other cast members include Anne Hubble, Ron Dailey, Dorian Dunne, Mark Goodman-Morris, Islato Rizziolli, Ginger Holt, Richard Newton, Max Ball, John Francis, and musicians Adam and Joye Wegener.

Proceeds from the play will benefit the Portola Valley Children’s Theatre Conservatory and Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco. A portion of the Habitat proceeds will also go to Haiti relief efforts.
