Emily Taylor of Menlo Park, a senior at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, has been awarded a fellowship by the Woodrow-Wilson Rockefeller Brothers Fund for Aspiring Teachers of Color.

Ms. Taylor is one of 25 fellows chosen. All are graduating seniors with grade point averages of 3.0 and above.

Each will receive $30,000 to complete a master’s degree in education and to prepare for teaching in a high-need public school for a three-year commitment.
