“Filoli goes to the Movies: celebrating films through flowers” is the theme of its 22nd annual flower show to be held Mother’s Day weekend, through Sunday, May 9, at the historic Woodside estate.
More than 60 designers will create flower arrangements, garden exhibits, and floral vignettes throughout the house and garden. Children’s floral entries, educational and horticultural displays and plant collections will also be featured.
From Friday through Sunday, in addition to the flower show, Filoli’s greenhouses will be open.
Flower chats will be held at 1:30 p.m. each day on the dining room terrace. There will be musical entertainment in the house and on the tennis court.
Friday teas and Saturday and Sunday Champagne brunches require advance reservations. General admission is $20 for members, $25 for adult non-members and $10 for children, ages 5 to 17.
