A joint meeting of the Atherton City Council and the town’s Finance Committee is set for 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13.
On the agenda is a review of the town’s investment portfolio, and a continuation of an earlier discussion of the five-year financial and capital improvement project plan.
A public comment period will be held at the beginning of the meeting.
The meeting will be in the council chambers at 94 Ashfield Road, in the Town Center.
How is it that we are $335,000 in arrears on payments to Allied Waste. Why did the city not respond to this earlier and raise rates more modestly? I’d certainly like to hear more about this in the Almanac, and from our city officials!
