People are invited to celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 21, by visiting the Shoreway Environmental Center in San Carlos and see how RethinkWaste (also known as the South Bayside Waste Management Authority) handles recycling.
RethinkWaste, in collaboration with Recology San Mateo County and South Bay Recycling, will host “Earth Day@Shoreway” from 9 am to noon at 333 Shoreway Road in San Carlos.
The free event will include a compost giveaway, tours of the facility, an opportunity to see a Recology truck up close in action, and giveaways.
