Prospective candidates can learn about the election process at free seminars sponsored by the San Mateo County elections office.
A session for candidates will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 17, at 40 Tower Road in San Mateo. Topics include everything from campaign finance reports to campaign sign requirements.
A seminar explaining how to get and use voter data will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at the Tower Road location.
All sessions are open to the public. Reservations are not required but are encouraged.
