The Menlo Park City School District announced at about 8 a.m. today (Oct. 14) that all the district’s phone lines are working again after going down Tuesday morning.

The Wednesday morning announcement said: “It appears that our incoming phone lines are working and that yesterday’s problem seems to be resolved by AT&T. We will continue to closely monitor the situation.”

The district had announced Tuesday at about 10:45 that all the district’s main phone lines were down, both in schools and the district offices. However, internal phone and Internet connections and email were still working.

The district suffered a similar outage in November 2014.

The district offered the following emergency numbers to use in such a situation, and said these numbers will also work in the future if similar problems occur:

Encinal School: (650) 327-0854

Laurel School: (650) 323-0374

Oak Knoll: (650) 854-0179

Hillview School: (650) 325-3861

District Office: (650) 321-7184
