A memorial service for Nan Chapman, the first women to serve on the Atherton City Council, will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, at the Menlo Circus Club, 190 Park Lane in Atherton.
A celebration of her life and reception will follow.
Ms. Chapman, who served on the Atherton council for 20 years before moving to Woodside, died at her home on May 9 at age 80.
