Menlo Park resident Sophia Jones and Stanford commit Kennedy Wesley played the full game, helping to keep Canada out of the net, and the U.S. women’s junior national soccer team beat the Canadians 1-0 in the final group play match of the CONCACAF U17 Women’s Championships on Friday in Florida.

Stanford commits Maya Doms and Astrid Wheeler combined to score three goals in the Americans’ 10-1 win over Bermuda on Wednesday. Doms subbed in during the 69th minute while Wheeler was given the day off. Read the story here.
