The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for the weekend that covers the western hills portion of the Woodside Fire Protection District, according to a message from the San Mateo County Alert System (SMC Alert).
The warning will be in effect from 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, until 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11.
The Woodside Fire Protection District has requested that San Mateo County Parks close Huddard and Wunderlich parks for the weekend, according to the message.
“Please use extreme caution during all outdoor activities,” a portion of the message reads. “If you see something that looks like it could be a dangerous fire safety issue in your neighborhood please call 911.”
