Dee Kent, the cherished and beloved daughter of Rosemary B. Kent and Robert B. Kent died at 69. She lived in Modesto, CA at the time of her death. Born into a military family in Pensacola, Florida, she lived subsequently in Chicago IL, Alameda, Sunnyvale, Carmel, Arlington VA, Honolulu HI, Coronado, Lawrence KS, and Palo Alto as her father, a naval officer, was assigned to one duty station after another. She graduated from Palo Alto Senior High School and attended the University of Kansas.
Always well-organized and hardworking, she worked in office management and administration in a variety of roles for many years in the Palo Alto and its environs. She eventually moved to Palm Desert in the early 2000s and then retired to Modesto for the last decade of her life.
Dee enjoyed gardening and cooking and had an excellent eye for interior design. She was active on the board of her homeowners association and served as its president.
She is predeceased by her parents, Robert B. and Rosemary B. Kent, and her brother, Andrew F. Kent. Her brother, Robert B. Kent II, and sister-in-law, Marialena, as well as her nephew, Robert, and niece, Anika, survive her.
