Elmer Hawkins Jr. lived in Palo Alto and Menlo Park for 60 years. He was born October 4th, 1926 in Frederick, Oklahoma. He moved to California in the 1930's. He graduated with a Bachelor degree in Engineering from Harvard and a Masters in Business from Stanford University. He worked as an assistant to David Packer in the 1960's and then got his Real Estate Broker License and practiced and taught Real Estate for 40 years in Palo Alto. He was a lifelong 49er fan and he never missed a Stanford football game. He was also a Giants fan. He is survived by his three children, Nancy of Ben Lomond, Ca., Michael of Bishop Ca. and Gregg of Forestville, CA. and two grandsons. Elmer passed away 10 years ago on November 7, 2012. He is buried with his partner, Nancy Flaxman and his parents at The Felton Cemetery in Felton, California.
