He attended college at Sacramento Junior College as well as California State University and had a degree in Engineering.
Bob was involved with the transportation infrastructure in Sacramento and surrounding counties. He worked for such companies as Teichert, Granite, RC Collet and eventually went on to found his own trucking company, Two Rivers Enterprises which he operated from around 1979 to his retirement several years ago.
In his youth, Bob was an avid skier. He volunteered services on the ski patrol in and around Donner Pass. Bob also enjoyed fishing and had many fun stories and anecdotes from his youth and experiences.
Bob lived a full life, enjoyed his grandchildren, driving his Chevy Silverado, walking three miles a day on the American River Parkway, and was a happy, funny, friendly person.
