Mary Joyce Himmaugh
Nov. 25, 1929-Oct. 10, 2021
Mountain View, California

Mary Joyce Himmaugh, born November 25th,1929, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 10th, 2021.

A longtime resident of Mountain View, California and a Navy wife to C.P.O. Charles Dixon Himmaugh at Moffett Field. She was a talented beautician and Engineering Tech at Fairchild in Palo Alto, retiring at the age of 62. Joyce was preceded by her parents Hugh and Jewel Biggs from Erin Tennessee, along with her four sisters, Francis, Carolyn, Martha, and Barbara.

Survived by her three children, Charles, Nina, and Karen. Grandchildren, Jennifer, Betsy, Donna, Brian, and William. Great-grandchildren, Kira, Olivia, and Mia.

She especially enjoyed the Holiday season, as this would be the time when the family would get together for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She loved her Parents and Sisters, and would often share many memories and stories. Joyce grew up during the depression, and a favorite story she would share to the family was, despite growing up in hard times, she never realized they were poor.

From a great sense of humor, and the happiness she brought to others, Joyce had a long, rich life, and will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and neighbors.
