I remember Don very well. I worked with him at Finnigan for many years. He was one of the most dedicated members of the Finnigan staff supporting education, training, and development of staff and users. He should be remembered as the first President of the Finnigan Institute. The Institute was a first in the Mass Spectrometer community. I always thought if the Company supported it a bit more, it would have been a lasting success. All credit goes to Don and some to Quentin as well.
