We met Gracia and Jerry when I was researching Allen's family history. There was a connection in Gracia's past with the name Fellingham, same as ours. In March 1997 we left England to San Francisco to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. During my research, I had come across a website with a number of "Fellinghams" living in America. I wrote to each one saying we would be arriving in America and would they like to meet up? Gracia and Jerry were the only people to respond. We spent a wonderful day being shown the Giant Redwoods, followed by lunch in a Sausalito restaurant, that they had kindly organised. We hoped to play host and hostess the following year when they came to London, as we had both spent years in the capital working. However, as Gracia and Jerry had been there a few times already, they ended up telling us things we didn't know!! But we did manage to take them to a London Theatre to see "Whistle Down The Wind", which they had not managed to see! They were a lovely couple and we were only sorry we knew them for such a short time. We often remember them and their hospitality towards us.

Hello, I met Jerry in 1970 for the first time, when I came as a post-doctoral research associate to NASA Ames Research Centre where I worked for 2 years in the same branch as Jerry. During this period I met also often Gracia, his wife, on the occasion of many private coming together of colleagues with relatives. Later on, because of our sympathy, we met several times again in Germany, my home country. The joined related picture was taken in Seligenstadt on July 24, 1992, with Jerry, his wife Gracia, Mr. Lemke (I guess, left) with children, and myself (middle). I'm glad that my kind former colleague and dear friend up to these days could enjoy such a long interesting life in midden of his large caring family. Sincerely, Heinrich G.
