This issue is important because the California Department of Housing and Community Development asserts that local government land-use regulations make it difficult for people of very low to moderate incomes to live near their workplaces, according to town staff. Communities are required to show how they would accommodate homes for these income categories.
Residents can submit comments in person at Town Hall on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m.
