Windrider Film Forum features 'Linsanity'

The Windrider Film Forum returns to the Performing Arts Center at Menlo-Atherton High School from June 27 to 29.

The highlight of the forum will be a showing and discussion of the film "Linsanity," a documentary on professional basketball player Jeremy Lin, a third-string point guard for the New York Knicks in February 2012 when he created a sensation by scoring more points in his first five NBA starts than any other player in the modern era.

he film, directed by Evan Jackson Leong, begins long before that media-crazed period and deals with the many obstacles Mr. Lin faced, including the complex issue of race in the NBA.

"Linsanity" will be shown on the final night of the film series, at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 29.
