Armed man confronts resident

A man armed with a shotgun climbed through a window and confronted a resident Thursday afternoon, Aug. 8, in Menlo Park, police reported.

The incident happened around 3:50 p.m. on Sevier Avenue in Belle Haven. The man stole a cell phone and fled, police said.

The man was described as Hispanic, about 18 to 20 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a short buzz-cut haircut and wearing a black-and-red windbreaker and blue jeans.
