Woman using fake license gets $8,300 check from teller

A woman carrying a fake Florida driver's license walked into the Chase bank in Ladera on Dec. 30 and convinced a teller to give her a cashier's check for $8,300 drawn from the account of a woman living in New York, according to a report from the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
