Letter: Lowering roadways for tracks could cause flooding

For Caltrain grade separations, Menlo Park is considering lowering the roadways at Ravenswood, Oak Grove, and Glenwood avenues. Among other issues — disruption during construction, complex traffic patterns, etc. — to do so would add the ongoing and permanent problem of water pumps' operation and maintenance and potential flooding of the roadways.
