'Massive' public records request escalates battle over Portola Valley's housing element

The battle brewing over Portola Valley's state-mandated housing document escalated dramatically, with attorney and former San Jose mayor Chuck Reed filing a huge Public Records Act request for all documents and communications related to a town committee's work, and the town's mayor alleging that the Nathorst neighborhood homeowner he represents threatened to "bankrupt" the town with lawsuits.
