Woodside High principal takes district post <

David Reilly, the principal at Woodside High School since 2007, will take a new post July 1: assistant superintendent for human resources for the Sequoia Union High School District. He will succeed Susan Vickrey, who is retiring.

Mr. Reilly came to the Sequoia district and Woodside High in 1995 as a substitute teacher, and joined the faculty in 1997.

He was teaching journalism and advanced-placement English in 2005 when he was promoted to administrative vice principal at Sequoia High School. He returned to Woodside as principal in 2007 to succeed Linda Common.

Mr. Reilly holds a bachelor's degree in English literature from the University of California, Los Angeles; a 1997 teaching credential from San Francisco State University; and administrative credentials.
