The 79th annual San Mateo County Fair continues through June 16 at the San Mateo Event Center, 2495 South Delaware St. in San Mateo.

There are daily free concerts, agriculture, horticulture and sustainable living exhibits, as well as carnival rides, strolling acts, and favorite fair foods.

General admission is $10 for adults and $8 for seniors. A one-day unlimited carnival ride wristband is $30 for all ages.
