This year's fundraiser was a huge success, according to Hit-A-Thon director Sonja Randall, and so was the Home Run Derby, for which Rowan Kelly, 12, a Foundry player from Hillview Middle School, took home the trophy.
The League provides local families with positive youth experiences and community building, according to its website.
The League's Player Appreciation Day was held on June 2 at Burgess Park in the Menlo Park Civic Center.
