Six indicted in federal mail-theft case

Defendants allegedly used real and counterfeit mailbox keys to steal identification documents

A federal grand jury in San Francisco has indicted six people, including a 34-year-old Palo Alto woman, on charges related to a long-running conspiracy to steal mail and commit identity fraud, U.S. Attorney David L. Anderson and Postal Inspection Service Inspector in Charge Rafael Nunez announced Dec. 9.
