M-A girls' tennis team aims for undefeated season Friday

Original post made by Sports Fan, Menlo Park: University Heights, on Oct 27, 2006

The girls' varsity tennis team at Menlo-Atherton High School may cap its season with an undefeated record this year if it wins against Hillsdale High on Friday afternoon in Burlingame. The play-off match begins at 3:15 p.m.

It's been a "Cinderella season," said Leslie Airola-Murveit, helped along by the addition of two new players -- one from Menlo School and one from New Zealand -- and two new coaches: Carlos Aguilar and Tom Sorenson.
