Foster's Freeze

Original post made by Elizabeth Lasensky, Menlo Park: Downtown, on Oct 31, 2006

When the time comes for Fosters Freeze to move, the old Arbie's site should be considered. It has higher visibility and better parking than the current Fosters spot and the Arbie's site needs an active tenant.

News Flash: The developers are paying lip service regarding Fosters Freeze. They have little intention or incentive to relocate this Menlo Park landmark. It's not going to happen.

If they were to guarantee it a spot in the ground floor retail space of the new development at the same lease rate as is place today, then I think we would know they are committed. But, they are not.

The people who run Fosters Freeze are not customer friendly. Pay, leave next?

Isn't the Arby's site going to be Cook's?
