"Friends" Drama at The Sequoias

Original post made by The Sequoias, Portola Valley: Central Portola Valley, on Nov 1, 2006

Veteran actors John Hutchinson and Marilyn Kamelgarn will appear in "Friends," the story of two senior citizens who meet on a park bench in New York City's Central Park - with surprising results! The lighthearted dialogue carries a theme of loneliness that plumbs the emotions at several levels as the two characters learn about establishing new relationships. The well-paced drama by Peter Levy premiered in San Francisco in 2003 and has played in theaters around the Bay Area.

Hutchinson and Kamelgarn both have over 50 years experience acting at venues including ACT, Theatre Works, and The Masquers, and have directed productions at theaters in San Francisco, Seattle, and Hawaii.

The performance is at 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 10, in Hanson Hall, The Sequoias, 501 Portola Road, Portola Valley. There is no admission charge.
