Seniors complain of long waits, line hopping, juniors at BBC

The BBC is an old Menlo Park bank turned nightclub, but the mob scene outside its doors Thursday night looked more like a Depression-era bank run than a Pub Night venue.

When exactly was the BBC building a bank? And what banking institution was it?

It served as city hall and police station for a spell, and in the 60s it was some sort of touchy-feely institute, but I don't remember it ever being a bank.
