Steve Jobs wealth not an issue

Original post made by Renee Batti, associate editor of The Almanac, on Feb 7, 2007

The following letter by John Clark was published in the Almanac's Feb. 7 print edition:

Editor:
I find it offensive and entirely out of line that in your editorials and the letters you publish regarding the Jackling House in Woodside, Steve Jobs' wealth is referred to so much in the arguments against demolition.
Regardless of one's opinion on the future of this property, there should be far better reasons to insist that the property be preserved than the fact that he can afford it.
