Will Scorsese finally win one?

Original post made by GiveHimTheOscar, another community, on Feb 20, 2007

Taxi Driver
Raging Bull
Goodfellas

Those are just a few films Martin Scorsese should have won an Oscar for, but after 35 years of directing, he still doesn't have an Oscar. I'm hoping that streak comes to an end on Sunday, and he'll be rewarded for "The Departed."

I can't recall a movie this complicated that I have enjoyed more. The screenplay writer deserves an Oscar, too.

Nicholson was superb, as were Damon, DiCaprio and Wahlberg. What a great experience.
