City gets good value with Climate Smart

Original post made on Apr 15, 2008

I applaud the Menlo Park City Council's recent 4-1 decision to subscribe to the low-cost Climate Smart greenhouse gas offset program for a nine-month trial on city-owned facilities.

The Global Warming indoctrination continues. Those who want this "feel good" based upon speculative science service should pay the bill. Why not invest the money in more trees that residents can actually see and benefit from? Why not create economic incentives for innovative, alternative fuel companies to settle in Menlo Park? Those who voted for this measure shouldn't be praised -- they should be removed from office.

Note the address for Tom Kabat (what maybe 3 doors away from Gail Slocum?)

Everything centers around Gail Slocum directing Kelly Fergusson who directs Heyward Robinson on the "green" GRCC. Slomiak the main speaker for "green movement" here in town is a long term (many years) house guest of Slocum. Slocum works for PG&E and has a certain amount of self interest in getting Menlo Park being a model "green" city.

So add Mr. Tom Kabat to the mix above.

How much of this "green" are the voters going to put up with next fall?

my observation...
