Mr. Picetti is and always will be an inspiration to everyone. He worked just as hard as any other person to make sure we finished the year with passing grades. He did not succumb to his illness and was constantly in room 36 whenever we needed help on a topic or just wanted to sit there and talk. From taking notes on the smart board to watching Freaks and Geeks Mr. P made an effort to make sure everyone felt welcomed in his classroom.

Jason it was so wonderful to see you all the other day. The article is absolutely beautiful, I have learnt a lot through your and Fehmeen's courage to face life changing challenges head on. My prayers are always with you all.
Lots and lots of love,

I'll never forget what a gas it was to have class with Mr. P. I've had very few math teachers afterwards come even close to Mr. P's style and sense of humor.
Both him and his family are in my praters.

Hi Mr P. and Family,
Federal Medicare will completely cover medical costs for a person with ALS of any age. This specific ALS coverage is a little known part of the "2000 Millennium Bill" enacted by congress in 1999. We had a long and difficult battle with Medicare/SSA in 2001 because many employees did not yet know of the legislation; however, by now hopefully Medicare/SSA employees have been updated. We eventually contacted our district's House of Representative member and were quickly processed, reimbursed for all prior costs as well as all future medical relating to ALS.
I wish you the absolute best life has to offer. Myrna Hayes

Geez, Mr. P... I know how cheesy this will sound, but just the tales of your life and how you've dealt with these lemons that life has chucked at you... It really just brings a tear to my eye.
