Hank, what did you say that was so distasteful?
Are you not a big fan, is your heart not throbbing?
Perhaps you could clean up your and put it in more acceptable format so that people like myself can appreciate what you're thinking.
Please share again!

For the record, I must admit that I think it is in extremely poor taste to ask the "star" for a picture. Afterall, isn't that what he gets paid millions to do? Perhaps next time you confront a movie star you should get some cash out first before presenting this question. Just a thought.

More than likely it is because Mrs.Pitt, aka Angie, is an outspoken advocate for High Speed Railway......

Probably on his way to Flea Street Cafe?

After all, it's Menlo's best kept secret.

After only 30 years.... ;-)

Possibly knoshing with Green Tech VC's up the hill, since he's a well known philanthropist for green tech housing (i.e., post Katrina)?

Let me know next time George Clooney is in Sharon Heights.... Closer in age to "Sharon Heighters" than B. Pitt, the handsome actor would really be a sight to feast the eyes upon and our middle age crowd would let him have his lunch in peace and quiet....

Hank --

I am sorry that Mr Gibboney expurgated your innocuous criticisms. The fact that you can spell 'innocuous' and 'expurgated' makes me question your 'true conservative' bona fides.

"Disappointed"
You do disappoint in making such a big deal over Brad Pitt appearing in town for lunch.
I am glad you haven't a clue of the celebs who manage to get past the aging bobby soxers or the nouveau groupies who visit me when they come to San Francisco for guest appearances and come down the coast incognito.
As for George C. he has been here also, but prefers Italy.

R. Gordon--You seem to have me confused with somebody else. I never made a big deal over Brad Pitt being in town, or any other celebs. I believe that was the person who wrote the article, and other respondents. My only issue was the way the editor has censored what seems to be a legitimate comment from another reader. I'm really glad that Brad and others visit this area, just for the pure enjoyment of being here. Actually, it would be best if nobody made a big deal about it, so more of them would feel equally as comfortable. Being star struck really isn't news, anyway.

Disappointed..........
I am confused.......I was agreeing with the person who had their post removed and the name appears to be the same as your's which denies the now removed comment you made.
As I said, George prefers Italy, and, frankly, it is a future plan of mine to move back to Europe.

Now I am both disappointed and confused! That can happen with such a loosely accessable format--which, just for the record, I hope does not change. My most recent posting is the most accurate of my point of view, only to add that I think I have spent about as much time on this one as I care to spend. Thanks for the banter.

I completely agree with "Disappointed"....I am far more interested in reading of the three homicides in the San Mateo County area in a week's period.
That is news. Lunch is de riguer even for a film actor.

Great Article Hannah, looks like you have raised a few eye brows.
I will be sure to keep my eye out for the film when it hits the theater. Way to go!
