For instance: you want to watch out for those pesky campaign finance problems that can steal away your voice by special interests. The union influences can also backfire on you as fast as any other big lobby.
Thankfully you already know that the oligarchy can easily usurp the police for protection of their private interest by throwing around money favors and fear, in what can easily become an elite and clubby atmosphere for those who would trade favors with each other, while looking the other way. Please take very good care of your press and especially your judiciary. They will need all the help they can get.
Oh and watch out for the Developers and Financiers disguised as your city fathers--they just can't seem to help themselves from being greedy and will never learn.
